Poor Hair Growth After Hair Transplant Surgery
Question: Hi i am 28 yrs old i had done surgery and its 2 months and 17 days what happens after surgery what are the side effects? I was told that there would be some loss of hair adjacent to hair grafts but that is due to dormant state or shock loss and its temporary and it will grow back is it true? After the surgery my existing hairs around were grafts were implanted became more thinner and i felt that my scalp was more visible, well the doctor told that its temporary. Do you think 2 months and 16 days is enough and transplant hair should begin growing now at least a little? I am just curious as I always think will it grow or will it not. How much time it takes to see fully covered and will the transplanted hair will grow in any case? Thanks

Answer: It takes about 3 months for the grafted hair to begin growing & a total of 6 to 9 months before the results of surgery become visible.
