On
Saturday, March 8, 2003, Dr Walter Unger, Dr Alan Feller
and two patients met to introduce Dr Unger to Follicular
Unit Extraction and to do a small test of using FUE
to fill in a strip excision scar.

The
patient, known as "Balloonman" wanted to do
a small test to implant 10 Follicular units into a scar
on his head.
The
doctors shave the area where the follicles will
be extracted from.
