John Kahen, M.D., the
founder and medical director of Beverly Hills Hair Restoration,

Dr. Kahen is a
graduate of UCLA. He attended medical school at Ross University
School of Medicine where he received his medical degree.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Kahen pursued his
medical training in the field of general surgery at affiliated
hospitals of New York University and Albert Einstein College of
Medicine. His training is extensive in organ transplant ,
cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of
International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
It was
a combination of his passion and personal experience with hair
restoration surgery that encouraged Dr. Kahen to pursue this
field. Dr. Kahen is the author of a recently published book
"Principles of Hair Transplant Surgery" that describes how hair
transplant surgery works, and why his approach continues to get
