 Dr. Jerry Wong, MD graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada in 1973.
Prior to specializing in hair restoration surgery Dr. Wong
had years of experience in general and emergency medicine,
anesthetics, and surgery.
Dr. Wong now dedicates his time solely to hair transplant surgery, and has nine
years of experience. He is a diplomat of the American Board
of Hair Restoration Surgery and is an active member of the
International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
Dr. Wong developed the lateral slit technique to improve
hair direction, angle and coverage. Recently he also developed
an instrument to cut incisional blades, which allows him
to precisely match recipient slit size to varying sizes of
follicular units, thus achieving greater density.
By combining his surgical skills and artistic talent Dr. Wong is able to produce
natural looking hair transplants for his patients.
Doctors Hasson and Wong have meticulously trained our surgical
staff.
In addition to their intensive training they attend all International Society
of Hair Restoration Surgery meetings to ensure that their
knowledge is current and in depth.
