Dr David Seager the founder of the Seager Hair Transplant Centre, is a world-renowned surgeon and a Golden Follicle Awardrecipient (given for outstanding scientific contributions to the correction of hair loss and improvement of hair restoration surgery). He is considered one of the foremost specialists in the field of hair restoration surgery, and is renowned worldwide for his "Signature" 3000-graft densely packed "One area-One session" All Follicular Unit Micrograft Hair Transplant procedures.

Since 1996, Dr. Seager and his staff have routinely performed megasessions of 3,000 to 3,500 follicular unit micrografts (i.e. up to estimated 6,900 and 8,050 hairs) (with a record number of 4,345 follicular units (i.e. estimated 9993.50) transplanted in one session.

Dr. Seager's staff uses Binocular Stereoscopic Dissecting Microscopes to dissect ALL donor hair into follicular unit micrografts, enabling them to harvest up to 25% more hair from the same sized donor area(than would be possible without the microscope), i.e. they can cover more baldness using less of the patient's precious and finite amount of donor hair!

The Seager Hair Transplant Centre's "All Follicular Unit Micrografts Megasession Hair Transplantation" looks virtually indistinguishable from natural, non-transplanted hair, because these transplanted hairs grow in exactly the same way (i.e. in follicular units) as Mother Nature grew them originally. What's unique to Dr. Seager's practice is the extreme "ultra-dense" dense packing of an entire session of these numbers of follicular units, and the unique offer of the "one area-one session", or "single session result" hair transplant surgery. One such session produces a sufficient, natural looking, reasonable density; extremely few patients request further grafts to increase density in the same area.

Established hair transplant surgeons from around the world have chosen to travel to Toronto to have Dr. Seager perform their own personal hair transplant procedures. In a published, nationally syndicated U.S. newspaper article, Dr. David Seager was quoted as being on of only four physicians in North America recognized as "micro transplantation surgeons recommended by their peers".

Dr. Seager has also lectured as a guest faculty member at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School), during the Dermatology Hair Transplantation Courses, and also as a guest faculty member of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery and of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Seager was amongst the first doctors to successfully pass the examination for the American Board Of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) in December 1997. Dr. Seager has since been invited to be an examiner for subsequent ABHRS, and has been both Chairman of the American board of Hair Restoration Surgery and of the Review Course.
